DAY 1: LONDON
Arrive at London Heathrow International Airport. Meet, assistance and transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch on your own. Overnight at hotel in London.
DAY 2: LONDON CITY TOUR
After our breakfast at hotel, we enjoy a full-day panoramic sightseeing bus tour of the capital of Great Britain: Visit of Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, see Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, residence of the Queen; Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus; visit the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels, then ancient city of London with the Stock Exchange, Bank of England and visit St. Paul's Cathedral. Lunch & dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel (B).
DAY 3: LONDON – OXFORD – THE COTSWOLDS – STRATFORD UPON AVON
Breakfast at hotel, we have a full-day excursion: we drive to Oxford, the oldest university in Britain to visit an Oxford College. Then we drive into the Cotswold Hills where we see some of England's most beautiful countryside interspersed with pretty villages such as Stow-on-the Octagon Lake and Burford. Lunch is on your own. We arrive at Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon: we visit the 16-th century house where William Shakespeare was born, see the traditional timbered buildings and shops, drive to the romantic village of Shottery to see Anne Hathaway's thatched cottage. Dinner on you own. Overnight at hotel (B).
DAY 4: STRATFORD UPON AVON - STONEHENGE - BATH - LONDON
Breakfast at hotel, today we visit mysterious pre-historic monument in the British Isles, Stonehenge. Then we drive to Bath, one of the most beautiful of cities with a wealth of magnificent 18th century architectural buildings. We visit the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms, see Bath Abbey, the Pulteney Bridge. Lunch on your own. Drive back to London via the beautiful Avon Valley. We climb into the hills to the North and have views over Bristol. On clear days one can see the hills of South Wales. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel (B).
DAY 5: LONDON - WINDSOR CASTLE - HAMPTON COURT & RIVER THAMES CRUISE
Breakfast at hotel. Full-day tour out of London: we see Runnymede where King John was forced to seal the Magna Carta in 1215, the first real charter of Civil Liberties. Then we drive to Windsor Castle, the bastion of Royalty in England. Enjoy the spectacular guard-change and see the magnificent State Apartments, St. George's Chapel and views of the nearby Eton College. Walk down to the delightful riverside and board our boat for a Thames River journey along this most attractive stretch of the river. Look out for the Royal Swans! Lunch on your own. Our last stop is the magnificent Tudor Palace of Hampton Court, residence of King Henry VIII. We visit the State Apartments, the world's oldest maze in the palace gardens, the royal kitchens, Henry's wine cellars and Real tennis court. Dinner on your own. Return to the hotel in London for overnight (B).
DAY 6: LONDON DEPARTURE
After breakfast at hotel. Transfer from the hotel to London Heathrow International Airport for departure flight.
