DAY 1: ATHENS ARRIVAL Arrival Athens. Meet, assist & transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight stay (D).
DAY 2: ATHENS – CORINTH – MYCENAE – EPIDAURUS - NAFPLION Early morning visit of the ancient city of Corinth where the apostle Paul lived and preached. He wrote his first and second letters to the Corinthians here. On to Mycenae where you can see remains of the prehistoric citadel fortified with Cyclopean walls, the Lionesses' Gate, the MycenaeanPalaceand the tomb ofKing Agamemnon. Continue on to Epidaurus with its famous well-preserved theatre. Dinner & overnight stay in Tolo (B-D)
DAY 3: NAFPLION – TRIPOLIS – MEGALOPOLIS - OLYMPIA Drive through central Peloponnese to ancient Olympia which holds the stadium where the first Panhellenic games took place. Thereafter they were held every 4 years. Afternoon visit to the archaeological site and museum. Dinner & overnight stay in Olympia (B-D)
DAY 4:OLYMPIA – PATRAS - DELPHI Morning drive via Patras to Rion where you cross by ferry-boat to Antirion, driving through Nafpaktos and onwards to visit the archaeological site at Delphiwhere the priestess Pythia pronounced her famous oracles in the Temple of Apollo. Dinner & overnight stay in Delphi (B-D)
DAY 5: DELPHI - ATHENS Early visit to the museum at Delphibefore returning back to Athens in the afternoon. Dinner & overnight stay (B-D).
DAY 6: ATHENS- SOUNION Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Athens, visiting the spectacular Acropolis and Mars Hill (Areopagus). Afternoon visit to the Temple of Poseidon at CapeSounion. Dinner & overnight stay (B-D).
DAY 7 (FRIDAY): PIRAEUS (ATHENS) – MYKONOS, GREECE
At in the morning we transfer to the port of Piraeus for embarkation on the cruise ship for our three day cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey. Set sail for Mykonosat In the afternoon, call at Mykonos, the island which combines an international jet-set atmosphere with a very active nightlife. Stroll at leisure through the whitewashed, flower-decked alleyways, climbing to the sculpture church of Paraportiani or along the waterfront of «Little Venice» to the well-known windmills. Sail for Rhodes at (B-L-D)
DAY 8 (SATURDAY):RHODES, GREECE
At we arrive at Rhodes. Our optional half-day excursion takes us to visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic rocky Acropolis ofLindos, with the blue Aegean Sea beneath it and the sophisticated whitewashed artists' colony at its foot. We have the afternoon free in Rhodes. Stroll around the medieval walled city; enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere from one of the elegant cafes in the marina. Sail for Patmos at (B-L-D)
DAY 9 (SUNDAY): PATMOS, GREECE – KUSADASI, TURKEY
At we arrive atPatmos, this beautiful and almost mysterious rocky island where the apostle John was exiled and wrote the Book of Revelation. We have an optional tour to the Monastery of the apostle John the Evangelist and the Grotto of the Revelation. After some free time for browsing, return to the ship and sail for Kusadasi at
At we dock at Kusadasi in Turkey, starting point for our optional excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. We tour the spectacular ruins where excavations still continue in this once great and important city, which was founded in the 10th century BC. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them theBaths of Scholastica, theLibrary of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and the Theatre.The Temple of Diana of the Ephesians, another of the seven wonders of the ancient world, was built in this city. We return to Kusadasi for souvenir shopping before sailing for Piraeus, Greece at (B-L-D)
DAY 10 (MONDAY): PIRAEUS (ATHENS)DEPARTURE
At we arrive at Piraeus. After breakfast we will disembark and meet our representative for assistance in our transfer to the Athens airport for our departure flight.(B)
